New Website Tools:  The US Department of Labor has released a new set of tools designed to help businesses with a variety of government compliance issues.  The tools, FirstStep Recordkeeping, Reporting and Notices Advisor, are available on the US DOL site.  Business owners can now more quickly find the laws that apply to their business, and research the reporting and recordkeeping requirements they must fulfill.  Each section of the site is called an "eLaw Advisor", and narrows down specific items required for different kinds of businesses.  Each "advisor" is a conversation tool, and attempts to mimic a conversation a business might have with a DOL representative on the phone.  Visit http://www.dol.gov/elaws/ and use the drop-down to find your topic and advisor.
