As renewable energy research, development and implementation grows across the Unites States, there are many ways to capitalize on this trend.  Renewable energy research and development may provide long-term economic benefits to the community such as lower energy costs and more energy self-sufficiency. It is believed that renewable energy infrastructure is attractive to commercial enterprises to help insulate operations from black-out losses and can provide direct electricity and energy services.  Tapping into natural resources such as lumber waste, wind, and solar power will make the county a more attractive area for relocation as it becomes less reliant on foreign oil for its energy.
